What experience of the presence of the divine can you speak to?
Where has grace moved in your life?
This weekend, I attended a SoulCollage(R) workshop in Medford, Oregon. I went with Ruth from "A Quiet Walk." We had a lovely time. But one of the highlights was on our return trip. We stopped at Applebees in Salem (a college town). Our waiter was a young college student. He told some jokes, made sure I had gluten-free food, and was very nice. He is a history major and wants to be a teacher. He will make a great teacher because he sure can spin a yarn! I suspect those future teens will be delighted. So, for the delight of energy that he brought to me and Ruth, I am supremely grateful.
“If a man be gracious and courteous to strangers, it shows he is a citizen of the world, and that his heart is no island cut off from other lands, but a continent that joins to them.” ― Francis Bacon Sr.
Double-like! I love the picture and quote and glad you had a pleasant trip with pleasant company. I love Oregon .. especially Ashland. Haven’t been in years though.
Sometimes a “Like” button for comments is needed! I loved Oregon and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the beauty of the state while I was in the car. Can’t wait to go back for a longer perusal!
