May is Mental Health Awareness month. So today I am giving thanks for the therapy I have received that has made my life the joyful and grateful thing that is today. Therapy isn't a cureall and it takes time and effort but it is so worth it. I suffer with depression and anxiety (among other things) yet I am a fully functional member of society because of the treatments I have been blessed to have been given. The stigma around having to need some help for mental issues is strong in this country. Today I write this post to do a small part in bringing awareness to the mental health needs of others.
