It's been an interesting couple of weeks. Last Thursday was quite a challenge for me so I'm sorry I was not here for you on Friday. But today I am back in business. My car has provided some distraction for me too. I locked my keys in my car a couple months ago because the door lock connections are broken. So it is old school lock each door manually for me.
Then this past Tuesday, on my way to school of course, I had my first flat in 14 years. I missed some important and amazing stuff at school, but other than that the whole experience was incredibly stressless. My tire popped from wear about three car lengths from a large safe gravel pullout on the side of the road. I was only a mile from home and a mile from my usual tire dealer. I had experience with my State Farm roadside assistance process from my previous car incident and the number was still in the redial section of my cell phone. They said it would be 40 minutes for help to arrive but they were there in 10. The gentleman was polite, knowledgeable, and quick. My spare was on the car and I was off to Les Schwab in 10 more minutes. All this during rush hour but his smile never faltered. I am really grateful for an experience of kind, appropriate rescue from my driving mishap.
"Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there." *chuckle*
