TGIF: Gratitude for Creativity and Companionship

I am enjoying a time out. Time out from the brutal news coverage of everyday. Time out from study and trying to prove my worthiness to be a minister to the professor of the day. One of the reasons for such a break is to allow my body, soul, and brain a chance to catch up with each other. This week I had a wonderful experience of just that with a visit to a friend's house and her art studio. We spent time together creating without the pressure of production. So much joy. No expectations. I am truly grateful.

If you wish to advance in any sphere, the best way is to take a retreat."-- Pico Iyer
