Gratitude For Madras and Seeing the 2017 Eclipse With My Dad

Gratitude, mindfulness, Photography
It's been a momentous week! The first total eclipse within driving distance from me in my lifetime. A year ago my Dad called me to ask if I wanted to road-trip with him down to Oregon to see it in totality. I was excited about the idea. So after a whole year of planning, we drove down last Sunday through Portland to Madras. I am so grateful for the community of Madras, OR! Celebrate Every Moment

Celebrate Every Moment

Christmas is over for another year. We've got New Year's still to come. If these aren't the holidays you observe, I don't want to offend you. So please take this message from my heart. Don’t waste time trying to discern and follow “God’s will”. God’s will is either obvious – so obvious that you don’t need God to show it to you – or, if it is not obvious, it is unknowable. I spent the better part of my 66 years believing in and trying to discover and do "God’s will", and never experienced any assurance whatsoever that I succeeded. Hay-yull's bay-yulls and Oyster Shay-yulls! What do you think made me ...
