Finding a New Beginning

Finding a New Beginning

inspiration, Renewal
I am a child of the 80's, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I have been revisiting so many memories lately, and the death of Prince has opened some doors that have been closed long ago. I'm not that girl anymore. Sometimes I wish I were. I've left pieces of myself along the way, and so many of the people I loved are gone. But what I miss the most was the unquestioning faith I had. Joy in the Morning

Joy, poem, Poetry
Because rebuke is in his anger, and life is in his pleasure; at evening, weeping will spend the night, and in the morning - joy!" The Aramaic Bible in Plain English a man stares at me with unseeing eyes and  reads my face like a page in braille . night-blooming jasmine wraps the street where a homeless woman sleeps under a bridge and cars drive by without stopping . to vituperate is acid and a pillow is as tender as a child garlic doesn't ward off poverty . hope lies in our gentle sighs somewhere there lives love and peace and in the morning - Joy! © 2012, Jamie Dedes (The Poet by Day), All rights reserved; Photo credits ~ Sunrise In Chichester by TBridget Mac, Public Domain

Nor is there a set time limit for how long our rest should be. Today is Tuesday and most likely you are in the midst of your busy lives.  But, ...
