Daily Prayers for Sabbath

Daily Prayers for Sabbath

spiritual practice
My daily prayer practice of late has been to read my sacred scripture, read the news, and to picturefy it. Find an appropriate picture to go with prayer concerns raised and find an appropriate piece of scripture. I hope you enjoy today's offering and join me in prayer for the world. It is also an opportunity to raise up your voice and join the group 100 Thousand Poets for Change by creating your own creative offering and posting a link here. This online effort is led by Beguine Again and The Bardo Group. Let's come together and be a fission for change!

Slow and simple are not sufficient solutions because restlessness runs deeper than mere overwork. Precisely becau...

It makes me sad that we could not be there for each other. While reflecting on this, I ran across this quote: “Let today be the day you stop being haunted by the ghost of yesterday. Holding a grudge & harboring anger/resentment is poison to the soul. Get even with people...but not those who have hurt us, forget them, instead get even with those who have helped us.” ― Steve Maraboli, Life, the Truth, and Being Free This seemed appropriate to dealing with past issues and in honoring what Sabbath means.
