I reached out to my big brother and that started a ripple effect. See he likes to watch out for and protect me something I haven't had in life. When I told him what happened, my big brother reached out to two of our mutual friends that he knew I respected and went to for council. TGIF – Friends Help My Heart Soar

I am grateful today (again) for my awesome friends! I put a brief note up requesting prayer cards for incarcerated youth, and people are responding! I love that people, friends, have such wonderful hearts and want to share words of encouragement with marginalized youth. My friends make my heart soar! If you want to help, you can! I am looking for either bookmark or business card sized cards that have prayers, words of encouragement, scripture from your tradition, or inspirational quotes. I'm trying to gather a collection of 500 for 4 different institutions. You could mail them to: Chaplain Stewart King County Youth Detention Center MS 1-K 1211 E.
