Spirit and wind…I’m glad you told me. I liked the flow of the poem but was scratching my head trying to figure out the meaning of ruach.
A trick haiku 😉
One of the most amazing things I have ever been to was a conference in which ruach was whispered with intensity from the stage.
Yes, it fills and overflows within and the heart sings and leaps with joy!!
Learnt a new word 🙂 Thank you for the meaning and pronunciation.
Charming
I’m so glad you translated here-when I first looked at your haiku, I thought it said “roach!” Doh! Gives the poem a totally different meaning, huh? Not nearly as lovely as yours!
Beautiful Haiku! Be a part of this society http://finerfriday.blogspot.com/
Thank you for starting my day with a new word … spirit and wind are a powerful duo! As always, thank you for sharing ~becca~ http://beccagivens.wordpress.com/2011/02/26/blossoming
Rauch -wind and spirit -lovely choice for the haiku .Nice
I have been studying the Judaic approach to Kabbalah which is mystical (not the “popular” kind). I can’t begin to tell you how it enriches my own Catholic/Christian understanding. What speaks most to me most is the Hebrew Aleph Beit. If you haven’t gone there, I think you would enjoy the journey. Beautiful haiku.
so beautiful!! i love the flow of your words.
i actually googled ruach before seeing your explanation. i felt it meant spirit because of your poem title.
