Sabbath Saturday – Resting with the World

What are you planning that will bring you rest?

In the Northern hemisphere, we are entering autumn. Autumn is a time where the world slows its pace from the frantic, color-filled blossoms of summer and begins to deepen its colors, lengthen its nights, and to prepare for a place of rest. And while nature is resting, it is building strength for the journey of a new season.

How will you be strengthened? Where can you slow down? Begin again? Who will you journey with?

...

“Spring passes and one remembers one's innocence.
Summer passes and one remembers one's exuberance.
Autumn passes and one remembers one's reverence.
Winter passes and one remembers one's perseverance.”
― Yoko Ono
