Sabbath Saturday – Be Still and Know

What are you planning that will bring you rest?

A short meditation:

Sit still and chant this on a note you feel comfortable singing or simply speak it. You can use the word God or your image for that which transcends as you wish during the chant. I am going to use the word Love.  Go through this slowly and meditatively, savoring each word, each syllable, each space between sounds.

Be still and know that I am Love.

Be still and know that I am.

Be still and know that I.

Be still and know.

Be still.

SilenceBe. Rest.

8 Come, behold the works of the Lord;
see what desolations he has brought on the earth.
9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
he breaks the bow, and shatters the spear;
he burns the shields with fire.
10 “Be still, and know that I am God!
I am exalted among the nations,
I am exalted in the earth.”
11 The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah

― Psalm 46:8-11
