Random Question!

What is your favorite guiding wisdom quote?

I love a few stories:

~the "Judgment of the Nations" in Matthew 25 where Jesus says that we have served him when we feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, heal the sick, visit the imprisoned, etc.

~Psalm 139.  Such a beautiful, cosmic, mystical poem.

~the Adulterous Woman story in John 8 where Jesus stands between the accusers and the accused.

~Micah 6:8.  What does God require of you?

And then, outside my tradition, I find inspiration from Rumi, Thich Nhat Hanh, oh gosh!  There are so many.  Native American wisdom, ancient-near east wisdom, etc.  They are all reaching for one experience of total Mystery.

  • Terri, you are a woman after my own heart to see such strong bonds of commonality between the various faith systems of this world. We ALL seek the Mystery, for sure! And please allow me a moment to thank you again for leading us in such a totally life-changing and profound Lenten Journey. I just know you have equal wonders of spiritual development awaiting us on Ascension Day and Pentecost!
