Mindful Monday: The most relaxing song in the world?

I'm far from being mindful on this Monday. In fact, I'm a stressed-out, hypochondriacal mess... but hey: at least I know it. In an attempt to soothe my jangled nerves, I google-searched for "most relaxing music" and found the ten most relaxing songs in the world. The number one most relaxing song on the list is "Weightless" by Marconi Union and Lyz Cooper. Lyz Cooper is the founder of the British Academy of Sound Therapy.  It's less music than noise, and I'm not convinced that scientists can legitimately extrapolate the results from 40 subjects to declare "Weightless" the worldwide winner, but it's pretty soothing in an abstract, Pink-Floyd kind of way. It is reported to have reduced subjects' overall anxiety by 65% and brought resting pulse rates to 35% of their usual resting rates. Give it a spin and let it lower your heart rate and your eyelids for eight minutes.

How relaxed are you today?

Strange, even though I don't find it aesthetically pleasing, it is relaxing. I have some relax to the classics music that I really enjoy listening to as they also relax me.
