spring rains bring freshness
while cherry blossoms flutter
the world is made new

Cherry Blossom Buds after the Rain by Terri Lee

Inspired by the Lenten Journey reading of  Ephesians 1:7-14

In him you also, when you had heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and had believed in him, were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit.  Ephesians 1:13

This is wonderful. I am grateful that I could inspire you. In an earlier response on my haiku for Lent you asked me if I would like some other spiritual texts to use for this Lent Haiku Journey. I love to read some other spiritual texts for this Lent Haiku Journey, but I am glad to read the wonderful texts you have given us from the Holy Scripture to use for this Journey. Thank you for your wonderful words and this Journey. (PS. With my hotmail adress I cannot write responses on the items on wordpress, so I use the gmail account I have.)

To imagine our souls made new, washed clean, and becoming like those cherry blossom buds, opening to every more wonders! Hallelujah and pass the snifter, Terri!
