Life On A Higher Frequency

Hello my dear friends! I'll be perfectly honest I had no ideas on what to write this week. But my mentor gave me a great idea and suggested searching for a quote and using that for inspiration. The results of that search came up with the quote in the above picture. "Appreciate what shows up in your life changes your personal vibration. Gratitude elevates your life to a higher frequency." -Oprah Winfrey. Let's pick apart this quote in two pieces, shall we?

"Appreciating what shows up in your life changes your personal vibration."

If we show gratitude or appreciation, our energy or our vibe changes. Recently I had a follow-up appointment with my doctor who prescribes me my testosterone this past week. The nurse that checked me in was the same one who saw me back in Feb when I was seeking hormone replacement therapy. All I did was say "Hello" to her and she said that I radiated such happiness, that I had such an aura about me and that I was making her happy and she didn't know why. My opinion on why is because happiness is contagious! My vibe or aura changed because I showed appreciation for the things that have shown up in my life as a result of my transition journey. But just as positive as my change in vibes have been, it can easily go the opposite way if you are not careful.

"Gratitude elevates your life to a higher frequency."

Living and cultivating gratitude produce amazing fruits when one puts in the work. I believe when you begin cultivating gratitude and as it slowly becomes a way of life, you tend to live your daily life on a higher plane. Your senses (body, mind, spirit) are elevated and you look at the simple things more deeply and you begin to have a new found appreciation for everything. You find yourself graduating from being grateful for that big job promotion to being able to be grateful for the fact you could have that nice cup of hot coffee this morning.

Once we appreciate what shows up in our lives, it indeed changes our personal vibe and allows us to operate our daily life on a higher frequency.

Who could have ever imagined that something such as gratitude could be such a powerful tool? Tell me one simple or everyday thing you are grateful for in the comments below. My one simple thing I am grateful for today is the fact I have all my senses that are functioning and I can enjoy this frozen caramel vanilla frozen latte from Sheetz.

Remember gratitude is a choice,

Brian
