Her Last Will and Testament

IMG_0509Her last will and testament:
in lieu of flowers, please
the no-gooders
the spin-meisters
the war-mongers
the raw-dealers
the grand-standers
the self-aggrandizing
the stallers, sycophants
vampires and panderers

Thank you!

Your kindness is much appreciated by the family of the deceased and the billions of worthy people who survive her.

The most effective poetry, communicating the most important messages, come in the smallest packages. I'm loving this piece, both as a poem and ... as an idea.

Yes! It does often seem that short and sharp does the job. John, thanks for reading and taking the time to comment.

Thank you for reading and for commenting, James. Much appreciated. For reasons I know you understand, I wish things were such that I felt compelled to write this.
