Sadly, dear Sister Terri, these doves in a cage (possibly awaiting to be sacrified at a Temple?) are not presently imbued with the peacefulness of bearing olive branches/leaves, are they? I really appreciate your emphasis on the image of the actual sacrificial creature for which the moneychangers were overcharging the faithful, apparently. Thus, Our Lord’s righteous indignation?
