I Choose You

Stuck in a prison of thought --
"You're no good, no matter what."
Long days left to ponder
No rest at dusk, cold and homeless hearts wander
Dark nights give way to a new choice
The light of dawn brings a new voice
"I choose you. Come out. Come out."
Freed to be called "Beloved, no matter what."
