6 A voice says, “Cry out!”
And I said, “What shall I cry?”
All people are grass,
their constancy is like the flower of the field.
7 The grass withers, the flower fades,
when the breath of the Lord blows upon it;
surely the people are grass.
8 The grass withers, the flower fades;
but the word of our God will stand forever.

About Laura: What I believe
The shift to a better world doesn’t happen on a grand scale, it happens one person at a time. I call myself a Life Adventurer, because I want to remember that every turn in the road offers another chance to learn and grow. I believe that the most important contribution a person can make to the world is to grow and evolve, because consciously evolving ourselves contributes to human evolution and to a better world. My personal mantra is Live Deliberately and my goal is to grow in my ability to live from my heart.

Thank you for this. This was a good reminder for me today: “The shift to a better world doesn’t happen on a grand scale, it happens one person at a time.”
I appreciate these daily reflections very much. I was even inspired to write my own: http://theantonymofdeliberate.blogspot.com/2013/12/an-advent-reflection-hope.html
Trischa,
Can we re-publish your blog on an upcoming Advent day?
