https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wti5UAKcS_c Christmas is for kids. You hear that over and over during the holiday season. But what about the grownups who see and feel more deeply and carry the hearts of those kids? What is Christmas supposed to mean for us? I'm feeling the pain of others who need a friend this year. Everyone should have a friend. IF you see someone off to the side watching at a party or activity, pull him or her aside, and just say hi. You never know how they might respond, and you don't know what might be in their hearts that you could touch. They might be your newest friend. If not, you reached out to someone. That's not a bad thing. Be kind, for everyone you know is fighting a battle of some sort. Share a blessing with someone today.
Be kind to yourself. Even when the world has nothing good to say to you or about you. Speak to yourself the way you would a small child. Be mindful of the emotions inside you when you do this. You know how to care for that child. Please do it for yourself, because sometimes no one else will.
