TGIF: Gratitude for the Trip of a Lifetime with my Dad

Spirituality
Today I saw the Grand Canyon for the first time. There are no words to describe it. Even pictures don't get there. I am so glad to be able to see such a site with my Dad. It's a wonderful father and daughter trip. "Let this great wonder of nature remain as it now is. Do nothing to mar its grandeur, sublimity and loveliness. You cannot improve on it. But what you can do is to keep it for your children, your children's children, and all who come after you, as the one great sight which every American should see." --Theodore Roosevelt

If there is a sense of reality, there must also be a sense of possibility...

Here at BeguineAgain.com, we will focus on things related to the climate throughout the week as it leads to the People’s Climate March on September 21st. School starts next week and the last days of summer are here. I am grateful for the sunny days and warm weather of the most beautiful season here in the Seattle area. And since we have added a dog to our family, I love summer even more. Days spent walking with him, watching him explore everything in complete detail. I learn so much about mindfulness from these times together. It makes me want to make certain these days keep coming for my dog, my family, and generations of families and dogs ahead.
