April 5: Seriously

the alterity of the onion in the cosmos

perfectly smooth
enemies and friends
blandly
greeting each other
avoiding intersections
voices unnoticed

crack unnoticed
friends misunderstand
congregate
reasonably building
together and ignoring
voices of harmony

fissure widens
come together and
cement
the differences
drowning the other
voices in concrete

layers revealed
vision cleared to
see
beautiful diversity
through a veil
voices obscured

smooth substratum
so close together
thin
places of liminal
viscosity carry
voices of angels

ethereal core
gathered in one
body
together as one
rooted in earth
voices rejoice
