And We Scream

"i scream, you scream, we all scream, for ice cream..."

forlorn and forgone are those words
echoing through the empty halls
words of play of joy of being

now we have theology

the words are replaced with
screams of pain of rage of exclusion
echoing slavers cries of "animal!"

come to me like little children

  • Gripping reality, good friend! Remember when it was oh so simple. I don’t think that part was supposed to change. We should probably be just as excited over John’s words below as the first day we heard them. I think I’m going to the freezer for ice cream! Wonderfully moving! God bless.

“I am writing to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven for his name’s sake.”
