I'm not so sure I know what "adrak" is. A person's name? Waiting for the Women

Adrak is an Indian spice. It is the same as ginger.

I am not familiar with Indian food - so I had to google Adrak! Since I love ginger, and it is indeed a pungent and drifting spice -- I certainly can picture the watering of mouths and grumbling of tummies for enticing appetites. Very nice, Terri! And you taught me a new word. Thank you!

I had to look it up too. Based on the picture, it would have been inappropriate to use a western-euro spice/scent. Wikipedia is a wonderful thing! Typed in "Indian spices" and it gave me a list of 50.
