    Spirit and wind...I'm glad you told me. I liked the flow of the poem but was scratching my head trying to figure out the meaning of ruach.

    A trick haiku ;-) One of the most amazing things I have ever been to was a conference in which ruach was whispered with intensity from the stage.

    I'm so glad you translated here-when I first looked at your haiku, I thought it said "roach!" Doh! Gives the poem a totally different meaning, huh? Not nearly as lovely as yours!

    I have been studying the Judaic approach to Kabbalah which is mystical (not the "popular" kind). I can't begin to tell you how it enriches my own Catholic/Christian understanding. What speaks most to me most is the Hebrew Aleph Beit. If you haven't gone there, I think you would enjoy the journey. Beautiful haiku.
