my green chair

in the corner is my
chair waiting expectangly
for me to perch upon
its cushioned seat
and read volumes of
revelation and texts
on inane history that
makes people cross
their eyes in vexation
and candles stand at
attention ready to be lit
waiting to provide
wisdom and energy
to the reader.

An intriguing programme for a chair which looks glamorous but not very comfortable.!

My green chair isn't exactly the same as this, but it is close. The trick is, these antique chairs are built for short people!

nothing compares to a marvelous book and a comfortable chair, or a favourite CD and favourite chair. :)
