March 22: Spontaneity

spontaneity

tulips spring upward
looking up
challenging the sun

freedom is deceptive
constrained by beginnings and nurturing
bloom where planted

Bloom where planted even though constrained to location. By choice I limit myself and tend to challenge the sun rather than discover I am blessed.

I was trying to get the tension between absolute freedom and absolute constraint. Befuddled I was. :-) I think it is most difficult to see the blessings in front of us.

http://vivinfrance.wordpress.com/2011/03/21/march-22-challenge/ Your idea of constrained spotenaietyis well expressed in the poem, but as a gardener I always welcome those lovely surprise flowers thay spring up in the oddest places.

What a lovely poem, beautifully illustrated by that gorgeous photograph - like a garden in my dreams! Thanks for the inspiration. Here's my much more puerile take on the prompt: http://1ightverse.blogspot.com/2011/03/spontaneity-and-single-girls-anthem.html and thanks!
